Blair’s Deron Rippey Jr. was named the 2025 Gatorade New Jersey Player of the Year on Thursday. The 5-star prospect led Blair to a prep championship this season and a Mid-Atlantic Prep League title. Rippey put up 16 points, 11 assists, eight Rebounds and three steals against The Patrick School in the Prep Open final.

Orchard Lake St. Mary’s senior and Michigan signee Trey McKenney was named the 2024-25 Gatorade Michigan Boys Basketball Player of the Year.
