Quantum computing stocks have been quite volatile over the past six months. Instead, I prefer more mature companies that can devote significant capital to quantum computing research, rather than relying on external funding.
Shares of Quantum Computing ( QUBT 7.32%) are surging on Tuesday, up 4.2% as of 2:52 p.m. ET but up as much as 22.7% earlier in the day. The jump comes as the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite both had modest gains.
