Colman Domingo's Sing Sing will be the first film to be simultaneously released to nearly a million incarcerated individuals across the U.S.

You have one more chance to catch Colman Domingo’s award-winning movie Sing Sing in theaters—now that the hit A24 film has been re-released nationwide. In a historic move, A24 is showing the film simultaneously in cinemas and correctional facilities.

As A24 re-releases the Colman Domingo Oscar contender in movie theaters this week, the indie studio is also making Sing Sing available to nearly a million incarcerated people across the U.S.

Along with a return to theaters on Jan. 17, the 2025 Golden Globe nominated film, "Sing Sing," will be shown in 1,100 correctional facilities across the country to over one million incarcerated individuals, according to an A24 press release obtained by TODAY.com.

Besides professional actors like Domingo and Oscar nominee Paul Raci, most of the actors were formerly incarcerated people

Fear the Walking Dead and The Madness actor Colman Domingo has wow'd critics with his performance in the movie Sing Sing. The actor has been nominated for SAG, Critics Choice, Golden Globe, and BAFTA awards for his role in the film.
