Cleveland-Cliffs is idling plants and reducing spending after the steelmaker posted a wider-than-expected quarterly loss.

Steelmaker Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. (NYSE: CLF) says it will indefinitely idle three steel plants — two in Pennsylvania and one in Illinois — this summer.
