In its day, the Austin Allegro left the factory in Longbridge, Birmingham, England, sporting a number of different anemic four-cylinder engines ranging in size from just one liter up to 1.7 liters.

Apart from the Allegro, they're notable for adding their own touches to the highest-priced Austin Princess models. They've since ceased to be a relevant brand for the last 45 years or so.
