Firefighters and police responded to a beach on the South Side of Chicago to rescue a dog stranded on a rock in Lake Michigan.

A dog was rescued Wednesday afternoon from Lake Michigan on Chicago's Far South Side, video from NBC Chicago's Sky 5 helicopter showed.
