The Milford Fire Department can only install these for Milford residents. If you live in Milford and you are interested in a lock box, you can call Milford's Fire Prevention Office 513-831-7777.

The boxes would be installed on the outside of businesses and apartment buildings. Each box would contain a key to the building and firefighters would have a master key that fits each lock box.

The council is scheduled to consider the key lock box ordinance when it meets at 6:30 p.m. in City Hall, 208 N. 19th St.
