WWE Raw made its debut on Monday (Jan. 6) on Netflix, with appearances from Triple H, Hulk Hogan, John Cena, and The Rock.

For the first time in more than 30 years, WWE's popular wrestling program Monday Night Raw didn't broadcast on linear television in the U.S., instead streaming exclusively on Netflix. One expert believes this — and future WWE events — will be a reflection of a cultural shift we're witnessing in North America.
