Game Science’s action game is taking every fan-voted award going

Chinese-made action RPG Black Myth: Wukong has cleaned up at this year's Steam awards, winning not just Game of the Year but two other categories in a community-voted awards event that only has 11 categories total. In addition to Game of the Year Black Myth: Wukong has netted both the Best Game You Suck At and Outstanding Story-Rich Game awards.

Valve revealed the list of winners of the Steam Awards 2024. Platform users decided that the developers of Black Myth: Wukong will receive the statuette for best game of the year.

Valve has published the winners of the 2024 Steam Awards, and with it comes the news that Black Myth Wukong has won the Game of the Year Award for the latest iteration of the contest, chosen based on votes that were gathered during the ongoing Steam Winter Sale that ends on January 2 at 10 a.

Black Myth: Wukong has emerged as the Game of the Year. This comes as no surprise, as when it launched, it broke various records and achieved a concurrent players number of 2.35 million active players on Steam. Black Myth: Wukong has won two other awards besides Game of the Year on Steam.

Wukong may have been snubbed at The Game Awards 2024 but there is no Astro Bot stopping it from winning Steam's GOTY award.

Steam Award winners, as voted by the PC gaming community, have been announced with Black Myth: Wukong winning the Game of the Year award.

The Steam Awards has dished out some prizes that people aren't happy with, including Black Myth: Wukong for best Story and Red Dead for soundtrack.
