Sammy Clouthier will spend 85 months in federal prison. Court documents show the 45-year-old Carlsbad man knowingly had child pornography in his possession, between late-December 2023 and March 2024.

Sammy Clouthier, 45, of Carlsbad was convicted of the transportation and possession of child pornography. Clouthier's attorney stopped representing him on Thursday, according to online court records.
