In LSU’s 87-74 loss to Auburn on Wednesday at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center, it allowed a season-high 25 offensive rebounds. Its previous high was 17 given up in the Southeastern Conference opener to Vanderbilt on Jan. 4.

LSU has posted a solid overall record of 12-7 so far this season but only has one win in six tries against fellow SEC teams. The Bayou Bengals have lost two in a row coming in, to the top-25-ranked Texas A&M Aggies and Alabama Crimson Tide, respectively.

LSU freshman guard Vyctorius Miller is expected to return against Auburn, according to Tuesday’s SEC availability report, giving the Tigers another boost in the backcourt. He’s averaging 10.1 points in 16 games while shooting 63.8% from 2-point range.

Auburn remains unbeaten in SEC play and earns another quad-1 victory Wednesday by taking down rival LSU on the road.
