Jerry Jones defended the Cowboys’ position on the infamous Cooper Rush contract incentive by saying he did not know about it.

Jerry Jones wanted to make it clear that one is not connected to the other. “I didn’t even know about it until I read about it, so nothing at all,’’ the Cowboys owner said of that clause in Rush’s contract.
