By Ian Ransom MELBOURNE (Reuters) -Pace dynamo Jasprit Bumrah blitzed Australia's middle order in a thrilling three-wicket burst on Sunday to turn the fourth test on its head and give India some hope of pulling off an unlikely victory.

The 50-over World Cup is far older and has been competed for since back in 1975. Australia are the record winners having run out victorious on five occasions (1987, 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2015). England took the 2019 crown after a dramatic Ben Stokes-inspired super-over win over New Zealand at Lord's.

Day 4 of the ongoing fourth Test of the (BGT 2024-25) was quite the eventful one. After India posted a total of 369 runs in the first innings thanks to Nitish Kumar Reddy’s century, the Aussies came out to bat and aimed to maximise their lead and post a big total on the board.

The hosts were staring down the barrel at 91-6 and the lead not even past 200 before some sloppy fielding by India and remarkable determination from Australia's lower order took them to 228-9 by stumps on day four.
