Spain's National Sports Council (CSD) has granted LaLiga club Barcelona the provisional registration of Dani Olmo for the rest of the season after an initial four-month allowance expired on Dec. 31, it said on Wednesday.

But according to Corriere Dello Sport, as per Sport, AC Milan have been offered the option to take Olmo on a six-month loan. It's said there is a private agreement for Olmo to head back to Barca after the short-term deal. The Rossoneri can offer him a spot in the starting XI and the opportunity to play Champions League football.

Dani Olmo's future at Barcelona remains in the balance as the Catalan club pursue their legal battle to get the midfielder registered to play once more.There is precedent -- in 2015 Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal joined Barcelona but were frozen out for six months because the Catalan club was serving a ban which prevented them from registering players.
