At the end of the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, there was a surprise tease: a super-thin phone that could arrive before Apple’s slim iPhone 17 Air.

The company teased at Unpacked that it's launching a new Galaxy S25 Edge, although it'll likely come later as Apple prepares its iPhone 17 Air.

We got a first look at the Galaxy S25 line and learned about Samsung -- and Google's -- AI advancements. Samsung's putting a lot more eggs in its AI basket this year, offering minimal hardware updates in favor of embedding the capabilities more deeply into its Samsung One UI 7 ( in beta since early December) and Android 15.
