what are the cabins like? why is there an * next to air conditioner in the description?

Not sure about the * but the cabins have AC. The cabins are very rustic and take you back in time. There is always a "fireplace" smell so get ready for that.
Would I be able to land a 42' Allegro Bus anywhere at Tannehill?

Plenty of places for your coach. Problem may be if those sites are open. Tannehill does not take reservations but you can call and ask if sites are open to handle you.
