My husband is built like an NFL player (6’3” and 275 lbs) and made it through, however he had to go on his hands and knees as the tunnel was not wide enough for his shoulders otherwise. It is definitely tight, even for me and I am 5’4” and 125 lbs.
Is it necessary to book a tour? or can I just show up and purchase tickets? I have transportation available, so this would not be an issue, just want to understand if a tourguide is indispensable, and if it has to be booked in advance
