Mid November to mid February is the best time to visit Hampi. It gets quite hot after that. Tunga Bhadra Dam may have less water. There is boating facility at the Dam site, Walking around in Hampi area will be quite hot. If you have to visit now, better to carry umbrella and some head gear, lots of water to drink.
