Great place to walk or bike! Lots of birds to be seen around here. Trails fairly well marked. Also lots of picnic places.Full review by dbinhou7511

We loved this place! Forests with spreading live oaks, beautiful marshes with riverine streams, Lake Defiance where you can kayak. Best of all, almost no one was there! We'd go again anytime!Full review by worldsmymuse

98% of the trail is stroller friendly, there are a few gravel spots that you can navigate with little effort. Most of the trails are well groomed and easy to navigate.

Sad about diminishing deer- recent first extensive walk trip & also looking for animal life (deer)=now know why were none. I'm vegetarian & can't believe none left due to over-hunting - really? Is that how we co-exist in this State Park? Beautiful park & wanted to come back often with more friends but now unsure. Denali in Alaska knows how to bring visitors, allow some hunting but protects animals from extinction. Will this be re-considered - please? (animal lover & respectful citizen of this great planet)

I'm pretty sure there is a disease that is affecting the deer population, not just hunting, look up chronic wasting disease.
